247 is for everyone in grades 9-12. You think church is boring? Then you’ve never been to 247. We meet every Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. We will eat from 6-6:30 and then move to the youth room for large group. This is not your typical sit in a circle and hold hands kind of meeting. Come once and you’ll love it. It’s student led, you’ll hear a live band, check out some videos, hear a clear message of truth, catch a few student dramas and make lots of new friends.

FOCUS
Focus is a small group bible study designed to create a place for you to belong. Focus is for high school students. We meet every Tuesday night and Wednesday nights. You pick what works best for you. It starts @ 6:45 p.m. at Lynn Northup’s house on Tuesday nights and Cynthia Ward’s house on Wednesday nights. FOCUS ends around 8:15. We hang out, have some snacks, but the main thing is connecting with other students your age. Our goal on Tuesday and Wednesday nights is to offer a place where you can build lasting friendships with other believers in a comfortable place. Adults can apply to volunteer as a small group leader.

STOKED
Stoked is for 6^th- 8^th graders only. We meet every Wednesday night in the Youth Room from 6:15-7:45. After hanging for a few minutes we break into a full on celebration. This is the middle school version of our 247 worship. Stoked includes games, videos, dramas, music and a message from Ryan each week.

CREW
Crew is for 6^th-8^th graders. On Sunday nights you are invited to eat at 6:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center with all of the other students. After dinner you will move into small groups. At Beach we make a big deal about small groups. We know that real life happens when we can create an environment where students are connected with a caring adult and given an opportunity to build lasting friendships with other students in their same situation in life. This is what Crew is. We will study the bible in a comfortable and safe environment. Adults can apply to volunteer as a small group leader.

SOLDOUT

SoldOut is a student choir whose purpose is to lead worship through song, dance, and drama.  SoldOut’s main mission is to go outside of the walls of BUMC and share the love of Jesus Christ to the broken-hearted and weary.  SoldOut meets on Sunday afternoons at 4:45 and is opened to 7^th grade and up for the fall season (September through December).   SoldOut choir tour season begins in January.  Applications are taken in January from students 7^th grade and up who feel called to be a part of this ministry.

SPOTTERS

This organization of parents of students gives support to our student ministry by preparing Sunday evening dinners, sponsoring special events, assisting with details of large projects such as mission trips, auction, etc.  Being involved with Spotters  is a great way to support your students and to assist this fast-growing ministry.
