Small Groups

Beach is a thriving and growing faith community where relevant and inspiring worship services are bringing people to our church in great numbers. We believe that  the best way people can connect with each other is through small groups.  By simply doing life together, friendships are formed which result in support, accountability, and encouragement to live Christ-like lives.

Our vision for the small group ministry is to see every person connected in authentic Christ-like community through small groups.

Our small group mission is to help people have 1) intimacy with God, 2) community with each other, and 3) influence with outsiders.  In this way, we fulfill our church’s vision: “To bring people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through a healthy purpose driven church.”

Connecting people through small groups is an on-going process.  There are three main ways to get in a small group.

1) HOST a group!

Simply identify a few people you live near, work with, hang out with, or want to get to know better and invite them to be in a small group with you.  Then let us know you’ve started the group.

2) Attend a Beach Link Event!

Several times a year this one hour event is held where you can connect with other people who want to be part of a small group, find out more about the small group ministry, and enjoy getting to know new people.

3) Contact the Church Office

Small Group Resources

There are many resources available to our small groups, divided into five topics.  The DVD/VCR resources may be checked out of our resource library, and groups are encouraged to order their own printed materials.  Group leaders can check out samples of studies to take to their groups to make decisions about what to study together.  If you want to use a resource that is not on this list, please contact your shepherd.  If you find a helpful resource that we do not have, please let us know.  Call Wanda Williams in the church office at 904-249-2343 for more information.
