Mission House grew out of the compassion and dedication of the faith community at the Beach.

Opened in February, 1997, Mission House is a day facility serving the homeless in the Beaches communities from St. Johns County on the South to Mayport on the North, providing meals, showers, medical care, clothing vouchers, case management and referrals to agencies for jobs, mental health, medical services, etc.  In 1998, the Mission House Clinic opened, providing free medical services on Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings to anyone without insurance.  Mission House assists clients to regain their self-sufficiency, self-esteem and well-being.

Members of Beach United Methodist Church serve meals at Mission House on the 4th Sunday and the 4th Tuesday of every month.

To receive more information on preparing, serving or the ongoing, cyclical needs of the Mission House please contact and someone will follow up with you!
