Marcia was born in Columbus, IN and lived in the Midwest (Indiana and Ohio) for many years. Prior to moving to Jacksonville Beach in the Fall of 2004, Marcia lived in Houston, TX for 5 years, where she was the Senior Executive Assistant to the Division Director of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School. She currently resides in Jacksonville Beach in order to be near her daughter, son-in-law and her only hope of grandchildren – 2 dogs, a cat and a macaw! She enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and going to the beach (although admittedly misses the rodeos of Houston and good ol' Texas BBQ!) Her favorite authors are, John Grisham, Stuart Woods and James Patterson. She looks forward to traveling in the near future and finding lots of new "favorite places!"
When asked about qualities she respects in people, she says "a hard worker with a big heart and a big smile!"
