Children's Minister

The position of Children’s Minister contributes to the success of Beach United Methodist Church by leading a team of volunteers and contract workers to create and maintain environments for worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and evangelism. The Children’s Minister is required to exercise discretion in leading the overall operation of the Children’s Ministry. In particular, a majority of time is spent supervising and directing the volunteers and contract workers, volunteer and contract staffing decisions (i.e. recruiting, training, evaluating, disciplining, discharging, staffing and scheduling), ensuring excellence in all Children’s Ministry environments, and maintaining safety and security within the Children’s Ministry.
