Celebrate Recovery
This ministry is for people with Hurts, Habits, and Hang-Ups who desire fellowship and to celebrate God's healing power as we work our way along the road to recovery. We are changed as we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace and forgiveness in solving our life's problems and addictive, compulsive or dysfunctional behaviors. We discover this freedom and healing from our one and only higher power- Jesus Christ. CR is every Friday night. The program includes dinner at 6:15 p.m., worship at 7:00 p.m., and small groups at 8:00 p.m. (men with men and women with women) afterward coffee and dessert. Also men's and women's Christ-centered step groups are offered during the week for those who wish to participate.

Lesson 15 VICTORY
Principle 5: Voluntarily submit to every change God wants to make in my life and humbly ask Him to remove my character defects.
Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires.
Step 6: We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. James 4:10
Step 7: We humbly asked Him to remove all our shortcomings.

Recovery is a lifelong process of being changed and conformed more and more to the image of God, from which ALL of us have fallen due to our sins. We all are in this lifelong process. No one is better because they haven't relapsed. Relapse is there waiting. We all have to be on guard, sometimes every minute. There are CR, AA, NA, OA, CODA meetings everywhere everyday. We are in this together, no one is alone and if there's a slip...."He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
