"SuperHeroes"

June 23 & 24 - July 28 & 29

This summer, get ready for a real treat during weekend worship at Beach! Starting on the weekend of June 23-24, we will begin a six week series called “Superheroes”. We will be taking a look at six men and women from the Bible who were used by God in a mighty and powerful way to impact lives for the Kingdom! These heroes were not able to leap tall buildings in a single bound nor were they fasting than a speeding bullet or possessing x-ray vision. They were ordinary and oftentimes imperfect people who chose to trust in the power and presence of God! So…..what does this series have to do with you and me?

We live in a world that is desperately in need of heroes today. People have lost hope. Many no longer believe it is possible to rise above the tide of the world’s evils and the pull of “ego” and selfish interests. Many of us believe that if we lived back in biblical times, we could have been a Joseph or a Joshua, but today things are different. The truth is that God is still in the business of seeking and calling out those who would choose to lean their imperfect lives into His perfect will! God wants to raise up a new generation of superheroes (young and old alike!) that He will use to impact this broken and hurting world with His good news! This summer, go beyond just believing that superheroes are fictional or a thing of the past! Believe that God can do something “heroic” in your life!
